On this day....2 years ago!

It's really hard to believe that two years ago today, Joey and I were on our way to the airport to fly to Washington, DC. I remember how excited we were to finally be going to see our baby boy and finally holding him for the first time! I think that the excitement and anticipation are what kept us both calm; neither of us had ever flown before or been in an airport for that matter but, everything went fine. On top of us getting there hours early  our flight was delayed a few hours, so it felt like we had been there all day!
I can't believe how much this little boy has changed my life. I love him to the moon and back! He is such a blessing to us! We love you more than words could ever day Nathanael!

Catching up where we left off...

There has been a lot happening around here!

First of all, let me just say that keeping up with a (now) 2-year-old is a little difficult at times! Oh, yeah, and the tantrums....screaming, crying, kicking, stomping,  laying in the floor and wailing arms and legs every direction. SO much fun! Especially when you're in public! (giggle)  Oh, the "terrible two's!" However, he still has his moments where he is the the sweetest, most loving little, funniest boy ever and I wouldn't trade a minute of it!

So here is a quick catch up...

Nathanael (usually) loves to eat! His favorite food is pizza and he loves juice (I know...but he will NOT drink milk! I've tried soy milk, chocolate milk, strawberry milk etc. He just refuses it! Any advice would be helpful on this!)

Easter 2014

He wasn't so sure about those eggs and all those kids running around! He just wanted to throw them!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

I really can't believe how fast he is growing up! Seriously he is getting so big and learning so much every day! Even though he just turned two, I'm already thinking "Oh my gosh, he is going to be in Kindergarten soon!" (Note to self: "Calm down. Take one day at a time! LOL)

I think he had a pretty good birthday. We did it in Sesame Street because he LOVES (or loved) Elmo. He got the Big Hugs Elmo for Christmas and packed that thing everywhere with him for months and months, he would even try to feed it.

He is an OUTSIDE person

He L-O-V-E-S it outside and he loves to ride anything that has wheels! Usually if he doesn't lay down and take a nap, we will go for a ride on the 4-wheeler and he will go right to sleep!

He loves playing outside with his cousins too! Especially "Sissy" (my niece Jeslyn, who is 2 months older than Nathanael) and Rylen (who is 5!) They are all big buddies and Nathanael loves playing with them!

So as I sit here finishing up this post, I realize that now I can't move because of this..........He is asleep! LOL

Poor little guy...

Friday we made a trip to the doctor only to find out that he has Reactive Airway Disease (RAD). It's pretty much like asthma but they don't call it "asthma." So far he only does it when he gets sick. So we are now doing breathing treatments for the next 2 weeks and hoping that it doesn't turn into "asthma" later on.

What's been going on?!....

Christmas 2013!

He wanted EVERYTHING out of the box as soon as he opened it! He kept daddy busy!

He LOVES bath time! He just started taking my hand and leading me to the bathroom and saying "Bah" which I quickly realized meant "bath!" LOL

First time playing in the snow/sledding! He liked it but he didn't like walking in the snow!

Showing Mom that he is a 'big boy' and doesn't need a high chair or baby spoon! (Love that face!)

Recently developed an obsession with Spiderman! He just points at Spiderman and goes "Eww Eww!"

The following are from today! He just cracks me up sometimes! At least he was thinking "safety-first!"

He loves putting stuff on his head, whether its a hat, a bucket, or a toy dump truck bed.

FYI:
*  He recently quit his pacifier! (Yay!) He pretty much just lost it one day and went all day without it. So needless to say, I never gave it back! But now we are paci free!

*  He decided that he likes to eat with real silverware, not that old plastic baby stuff! So I had to buy the metal baby silverware.....he doesn't know the difference.

*  We bought him some gummy fruit snacks the other day that were Spongebob, Scooby-Doo and Despicable Me and .....now he is obsessed with GUMMIES! He callls them "Bob" because of the Spongebob ones! So now he asks for "Bob" all of the time!

*  He loves popsicles and juice! (He calls them both "Duice")

*  He is C-R-A-Z-Y about ELMO! or as he calls him, "Bo-Bo". He got the big hugs Elmo for Christmas and he packs that thing Everywhere! He feeds him (whatever he eats or drinks), he sits him in the chair at the dinner table, he puts him in the back of his cozy coupe truck, he lays on top of him........He LOVES his ELMO! By the way, we will probably have an Elmo birthday party! WooHoo!

*  He used to be scared to death when the phone would ring but, now he tries to answer it and say "He-woah"

*  He is the only child I have ever seen that likes to wear shoes ...and socks! Especially those Diego snow boots (in above pic), he will wear them all day long! LOL

*  He loves motorcycles (dirt bikes) just like his daddy! We got him a power-wheel dirt bike for his birthday! He is going to love it!

*  He used to call me "Momma" which I thought was so cute and I don't know where he got it from because I always referred to myself as 'Mommy'.  So, now he calls me "Mommy" and I miss being called "Momma"!
#mommyprobs

*  He never sits still and is never quiet unless he is asleep!!! He is always go-go-go!

He is sleeping right now......so I thought I would try to catch up on my blog! LOL
Thanks for reading! Be back soon, hopefully!
