• ~January 2, 2012 - Received background checks
• ~Feb. 9, 2012 - First Home study visit
• ~March 5, 2012 - Second visit- Home study completed
• ~March 12, 2012- Application and Fees sent to CCI
• ~March 13, 2012- Application approved
• ~March 31st - Received passports
• ~April 5, 2012- Agency contracts & Fees sent
• ~April 11, 2012 - Home study approved
• ~April 19, 2012 - I600A sent to USCIS
• ~April 28, 2012 - received biometrics appts
• ~May 9, 2012 - Biometrics done
• ~May 15, 2012 - County Seal for Dossier
• ~May 16, 2012- mailed Dossier to State for Great Seal
• ~May 18, 2012 - #13 on waiting list
• ~May 19 - received Dossier back with Great Seal
• -sent copies of Dossier to CCI
• ~May 21 - sent Dossier to Asst. Stork for authentication/seal @ Washington, DC and Ethiopian Embassy.
• - sent request for Visas to Washington
• - Received I 171H approval.
• ~ June 26, 2012 #7 on waiting list
• ~ July 6, 2012 - possible baby boy (waiting for medical info)
• ~August 10, 2012 - accepted referral of baby boy!!! (med-good)
• ~ (August 3, 2012) - submitted to court.
• ~August 15, 2012 - got our COURT DATE! October 23, 2012!
• ~August 17th - Booked our flights!
• ~October 20, 2012 - Left for Cincinnati to fly to Washington, DC (Spent the night in DC)
• ~October 21, 2012 - Flew from Washington, DC to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia >October 22, 2012
• October 22, 2012 Meetcha Day!
• October 23, 2012 - Court Date
• October, 25, 2012 - came back home.
• October 30, 2012 - PASSED COURT! (1 week later due to a situation w/birth mother)
• November 5, 2012 - Received Nathaniel's birth certificate!
• December 2, 2012 Arrived in Ethiopia for Embassy/Pick Up!
• December 4, 2012 - Cleared Embassy!
• December 6, 2012 - HOME!!!
