Praying for Patience!

I am slowly...well quickly losing my PATIENCE! I am not doing so well with w a i t i n g. We haven't heard anything in a while, just that the new judge is requesting more paperwork from the orphanage and they are having a hard time getting it. So, court dates are moving slow. Which we are far from a court date! Still 13th on the list! I read a blog of another couple who started at #2 on the waiting list in February and had thier referral within a month! WOW! I am kind of a little jealous impatient though! So while we wait...and wait....help me pray for patience! And pray for the families that are waiting and those that are enjoying thier new family.

For our first adoption we were told the wait would be 8-10 months-- this turned into 26-months.

Our second adoption was completed (as in home with our new daughter) within a year of starting the homestudy. Much faster than we andticipated.

One thing about adopting-- the timelines are never certain.

Have you googled around about ET adoptions? The RQ-china adoption site has a forum for IA-- Ethiopia. There might be folks posting information there.

Oh the adoption journey is so very hard!!! All you can do is trust that God has THE child already chosen for your family, He knows best! The waiting and wondering is so hard and painful, but so worth it in the end. Hang in there! I was a mess when waiting on Janie!
